Squirrel family games[edit]
Freaky Fun (improved)[edit]
5 Nov 2008
"Now this one is different story than yesterdays’s game (Aviator). In this one I didn’t change graphics, but the gameplay. To a dull game of collecting acorns via driving your car I added four power-ups, which change the gameplay into something a bit more entertaining. Still a classic 2005 way of thinking though. Don’t expect any fantastic gameplay that will blow your mind.
Another thing – this one is significant, it’s THE LAST squirrel game that waited for revision (until today). That’s it. The remaking process is done. Finished. Only new stuff from now on. Expect mind-blowing gameplays next year :D. I counted 30 games alltogether, some of them are retouched, others completely redone – you can play’em all on pastelgames.com naturally. Ok then, onto 10 Gnomes 10…"
Warehouse[edit]
Unannounced game probably published with The Squirrel Family collection on itch. Probably an old but unfished game not released before.

Aviator[edit]
22 Oct 2008
"I looked through pastel stories archives and didn’t find any indication that this game was ever released. Strange. It’s an old game, from 2005, so don’t mind the ‘easy as hell’ gameplay (some of you might even say it’s boring). But to bring that game to SOME decent level of quality today I upgraded the graphics and changed music and sound effects. So, collect acorns and avoid enemies… – ideas for gameplay were soo easy back in a day. :D"
Oceanic (original Ocean improved)[edit]
18 Aug 2008
"This one is a simple reload. No changes made to the actual gameplay, changed just graphics and main api, so the game is pausable, quittable and saveable scorable. ;)
the squirrel goes scuba in this underwater fish hunt. Watch out for falling snails and the octopus."
reloaded: Crowded House[edit]
13 July 2008
"collect as many nuts as you can, but these are tough times, as the room gets more crowded with every single nut collected. Use star power up to make some room.
Thanks to reloading this game gained: six characters to choose from, option to choose control method (keys or mouse) and some fast music background."
Summer[edit]
10 Jul 2008
"It’s summer time. It’s so hot out there that grilled chicken legs are falling right from the sky. With that said – one question remains – what does that mean machine’s janitor do with the grill here? The answer seems obvious…
p.s. – finally after four years my “Four Seasons” game tetralogy is finished and I can feel fulfilled. :D"
reloaded: Spring[edit]
9 Jul 2008
"It’s springtime in squirrel land. Time of joy, renewed hope for a good year and fierce beetle eating. Plants are growing everywhere, sun is shining, snow came down from the mountains… But what’s up with that winter’s mean machine janitor and his fireballs? Wait, what?…"
reloaded: Winter[edit]
8 Jul 2008
"If you happen to not score good points in Autumn, here’s your chance to make some more rations for winter chill, as we approach the mean machine and it’s frozen acorns. Catch’em all, but watch out for the machine’s janitor, he’ll try to scare you away with snowball, but we all know that won’t do any damage. Or will it?…"
reloaded: Autumn[edit]
7 Jul 2008
"It’s autumn in squirrel land and it’s highest time to make some rations for that upcoming winter. Collect as many acorns as you can and don’t forget to catch them clocks for extra time. Once again – fully reloaded game, only acorns and original hero survived the time test. :D"
reloaded: Tribal Jump[edit]
3 Jul 2008
"tribal jump didn’t really need reloading, exept for better graphics and a new API. The gameplay is exactly the same, so if you happen to have played this game before – you can just feast your eyes on new graphics, or you can do that via picture above. Hmm… Anyway – just go and play and make it to the leaderboard :D"
Last Egg Standing (aka reloaded: egz)[edit]
2 July 2008
A remake of the Squirrel Family game EGZ, yet officially NOT part of The Squirrel Family collection!
"Well this had to happen. When you’re reloading games there’s always a danger of coming across a game that you need to redo entirely from scratch to make it worth playing and showing to the needy audience. Let’s start at the beginning. Long time ago, in year 2004 or even earlier I created a small game called EGZ . Nothing fancy, just a remake of old egg picking from Nintendo. Back then this game seemed to be cutting edge, but now… List of things to improve was long. Terrible sound in between levels. Shitty font used for top display. Random egg showing – which resulted in inability to collect them all. Lousy backgrounds… The list goes on. But the worst part was when I opened the fla file and looked at the script. OMG, what was I thinking. Those hard early years of action script learning. :D So I remade the whole thing. Not a single sprite survived, not a line of code. Now you can compare how my way of thinking about game development changed in those few years. ;)"
reloaded: Roman Rumble[edit]
reloaded: Polar Jump[edit]
Deadly Dash (aka reloaded: run run)[edit]
14 May 2008
"Well whaddyanow, another day, another game. If you have ever played City Jumper from NationLocation you’ll like this one as well. Previously known as RunRun, this one with changed graphics and a scoring system delivers richer entertainment. Lol, I sound like a real merchandiser / advertiser right now :D:D:D"
reloaded: Twice as Bounce[edit]
13 May 2008

"moving on. Another game just day after previous one? Sure, why not. Remember this game? It’s a bit confusing for a second, but then it turns out to be a great exercise for your brain, stimulating regions responsible for concentration, aim and focus. So I heard ;)"
reloaded: Crazy Cruise[edit]
12 May 2008
"moving on – Crazy Cruise, just click and hold mouse button to go higher and release it to descend. Sounds easy, right? Good luck."
reloaded: Octopus[edit]
9 May 2008
"A word of explanation. Yes, it’s not a new game, it’s been featured here before. But I am starting a new manner on this site, I want to remind you about those older games, because they’ve been tweaked a little and I added “save score” option to most of them!! :D so now you can actually play a game and check out if you suck as hell at it, or on contrary, all base belong to you. Good luck with that. Anyway, Octopus is the first to go. Enjoy. Save score. Comment."
Payback (improved)[edit]
1 March 2007
"This one is truly a blast from the past. It’s one of my older games. It was featured on this site, back in 2005 before *the big submachine rumble* when I had all my games on my server. But then, when to my surprize submachine consumed most of my yearly transfer limit in one week I had to take all the games down. And they reappear slowly on different servers, and so did this one. However, two years passed by, I decided to make some improvements to this game. Changed background a little bit, changed controls from pressing space bar to clicking mouse (as it’s a modern tendency that most of games are mouse-controlled), so it’s a new game in a way. nevertheless, here it is. Enjoy. The name of the game is a story of it’s own. First I was making games in which *the orange fella* was attacking the squirrels, this was the first game in which a squirrel fights back. Hence – the title."
Crazy Cruise[edit]
28 Jan 2007
"Your objective is to navigate the squirrel-copter through a narrow tunnel without crashing it. Try to stay alive as long as possible for a maximum score, press your left mouse button to go higher and release it to go down."
the Acrobats[edit]
15 Jan 2007
"Two little squirrels want to join the circus, and they have to impress the carnivale management. Their trick is simple, one is jumping on the head of the other. Find yourself in this situation and help them to get maximum score to impress the jury. Place the orange squirrel in the right position by moving your mouse."
Puppy fetch[edit]
5 Dec 2006
"Help a naughty little puppy play fetch the stick with his squirrel master. With 10 levels set in beautiful backdrops, this game is fast, easy and totally addictive. Stay away from the sly black cats and ferocious bull dog. Collect bones for bonus points and keep and eye on the clock. Challenging terrain, complete with moving platforms and unique themes make this game a must play! Use the LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys to make the puppy run. Press the SPACEBAR to make the puppy jump."
Squirrel Harvest[edit]
2 Nov 2006
Get your grip on – we’re harvesting acorns in this nutty squirrel adventure. Help the squirrel collect as many acorns as possible in the time allotted. Stay away from falling bugs. It’s a fun harvest time! by moving your mouse up and down you change a squirrel’s position on the bamboo tree, then by clicking you release a claw to get acorns. Good luck.

Jump from glacier to glacier while dodging animals to reach home as quick as you can. Collect as many spear heads as possible to maximize your score and compete against other polar jumpers around the world."

Lost media???
"Roman Rumble is another game from the squirrel family. This time the squirrel travels to Rome on a quest to discover the ancient orders of Roman architecture. In this game you will have to guide the squirell through 3 orders of Roman architecture – Doric, Ionic and Corintihian, while collecting ancient Roman coins and vases. Use the mouse cursor to walk the squirrel left and right. Left click to jump and tumble-leap over the gaps in the pillars and to dodge the daggers and spikey spirals. Collect the roman coins – they will give you more points and time. good luck"
Octopus[edit]
2 Feb 2006
Lost media???
"Another classic nintendo game renewed to fit the squirrel family. Use your arrow keys to navigate the squirrel right or left to get treasure from an underwater chest, avoiding the arms on an octopus. this game has a pretty decent graphics as for one of my earlier games I must say. Good music from ThumpMonks added two years after publishing gave a good final touch to this game. Despite it’s a remake, I like this game a lot."
Tribal Jump[edit]
2 Jan 2006
Lost media????
"Rumble in the jungle with another wild and wacky Mr. Squirre. That adorable squirrel is back again and on another mission. Send him flying from one skull to another, but avoid those horrible totem poles."

Spring[edit]
2 Oct 2005
Lost media???
"simple, one-page platform game. This time you don’t collect acorns, but bugs, as it’s spring time in the squirrel universe. You play against time trying to get as many bugs as possible. There are of course time – extenders to catch as well. Don’t fall through the bottom of the screen, coming back will consume lots of precious time."
Squirrel Escape[edit]
2 Aug 2005
"Squirrel Escape is completely addicting action game fun. Guide a squirrel through numerous mysterious rooms as he tries to escape. Along the way you will need to jump on floating boxes, find hidden keys, collect gold coins and avoid evil score stealing monsters. Squirrel Escape is a fun and addictive game that will keep you coming back for just one more go!"
Labyrinth[edit]
2 Aug 2005
"Labyrinth is completely addicting action game fun. Can you escape from the Labyrinth in your rocketship? Of course you can! Just make sure to steer clear of the walls as you race to find the exit and pick up some gems for good measure. Use arrow keys to move around. You have to find not only exit, but before that a lever that will open the door to freedom. Ten levels of good escaping fun."
Crowded House[edit]
2 Aug 2005
"well, this is a squirrel family. It wouldn’t be much oif it without a squirrel and some acorns. this time you fight against enemies. With each acorn collected a new enemy appears. But you can destroy all of them from time to time using a amgical shield, but can you do it within 3 seconds?… This is the only game I made so far where you can pick your favourite squirrel to be your character. You can choose between main three characters, the blue one, the green and the red one."
Aeroplane[edit]
2 Aug 2005
Fly your aeroplane and avoid the obstacles with your mouse. Press the button to go higher and release it to go down. Don’t fall through the bottom of the screen, that’s a crash. try to get as many gems as possible for the highscore and avoid bombs, you can use the shield to blast a bomb.
Ocean[edit]
2 June 2005
Lost media???
"this time we are in a completely different enviroment. Go deep below the surface in quest of collecting fish. Like most of TSF games this one is timed as well. Collect pearl to extend your time, in order to do that look closely at the can at the bottom and a pearl oyster strolling nearby. Watch out for the falling snails and a jellyfish, they can be quite harmful. Good luck young diver."
Run Run[edit]
2 March 2005
"this game is a remake of ‘City Jumper’ from NationLocation. All you have to do is jump, and it’s up to you whether you make a big jump, or a small one. As the game gets tougher your life will depend on combination of right jumps properly timed. Have fun."
Pink Panic[edit]
2 Feb 2005
"this game was originally created as a valentine’s card for Webesteem. You are a cute pink angel, however your task isn’t so nice. Try to destroy as many ballons as possible before they escape. There are also some candies to destroy for extra points."
the Kite[edit]
2 Feb 2005
Aaaah, the kite. One of my favourite squirrel games of all times. I can’t really tell if the concept of the game is that original as I think it is, but see for your self. It’s a windy afternoon, and you went out to the fields to fly a kite. It’s all fun and pleasure, untill those orange-whatsoever-something enemies appear trying to tear your kite apart. So – avoiding them will prolong your kite-fun. Also some acorns as usual for extra bonus points. This game has a good vibe and great atmosphere thanks to the amient I found on the web.
Mars Raider[edit]
2 Feb 2005
"Ride as fast as you can. You have only one minute to get as far as possible. There are obstacles on your way, avoid them by jumping using SPACEBAR, and ARROW KEYS to move back and forth. Good luck in avoiding, as you run faster and faster every second (evil laugh)…"
Deep Space[edit]
2 Jan 2005
"This is a concept of a game that I created all by myself and never seen anything similiar on the web. Point and click. When you click the stage, the squirrel will go to that spot, collecting gems for points on the way there. But watch out for the bombs and that orange enemy that appears from time to time. You have three lives, or three squirrels rather, as you blow up your character, another one takes it’s place. That’s a team spirit or what!"
Christmas Break[edit]
2 Dec 2004
"it’s a seasonal arkanoid clone. You take out the presents, watch out for the extra balls/acorns that appear from time to time helping you in getting the highscore."
EGZ[edit]
2 Nov 2004
"We all remember the egg picking game from Nintendo [editor's note: Nintendo Game & Watch EGG]. It’s the same, just squirrel picking acorns – as usual. Five levels of fun and race against time and randomness of falling acorns. Can you beat the highscore?…"
Winter[edit]
2 Nov 2004
Lost media???
"This is a sequel to the ‘Autumn’. It’s winter already, but your task is basically the same. You need to get as many acorns as possible, but this time the orange-fella will throw snowballs at you, and when ou get hit you loose five points, so watch out for that. The acorns can’t fall from the trees, it’s winter after all, so there is a big pipe that spits them all over the place. Geting a time bonus won’t be that easy as before. Just see for your self. Waste good half an hour…"

Funky Forest[edit]
2 Sept 2004 (made in 2003???)
"This game was created back in 2003. As I remember this was the first game ever with that squirrel character. So take a look and see how it all begun. You move using arrow keys and SPACE and you ahve to collect all the nuts from the screen to advance to the next screen."
