Adventure Jam

Adventure Jam is an annual two-week-long game jam with a focus on developing adventure games from classic text adventure over the popular point-and-click adventures to modern variations of the genre. The first adventure jam took place in 2015 on Game Jolt. Since 2022 adventure jam is hosted on itch.io. The event was created and hosted from 2014 to 2023 by Cassie Benter and Stacy Davidson. In 2024 adventure jam will take a break but in 2025 it's planned to be organized by a team of old and new contributors. The official website is usually found under advjam.com, the domain is temporarilly redirecting to Discord until the new websites will be finished. The 2014 Point-and-click Jam can be seen as a spiritual predecessor of the event.
